Today was gorgeous out! A bunch of has had planned a hike for today. We were going to use two cars and two drop off locations, we would all do six miles and whoever wanted to continue on could do the other six miles and whoever wanted to leave could. Well it turned out that everyone backed out from the entire hike except for Mike and I, so we decided to go for the full 12 miles. We started off at the same place I hiked before in Hocking Hills, then wrapped around into some unfamiliar territory. It was a perfect day for a hike. We started at about 1000 (10:00 a.m.) and finished up at about 1500 (3:00 p.m.). It was nice and cool this morning so I had two shirts on, but as the day wore on, I had to lose a layer and by the end of the day I was dripping in sweat. We basically hiked along the water the whole day so I stopped several times to put my hands and face in the water and we trekked on. By the time we finished it was 84 degrees and sunny out. Unfortunately on our way out of the park we passed by about eight or nine emergency vehicles that were in a rush towards the park. It was very muddy today and I pray that no one fell off a cliff.
Here are some photos from today's hike...
