OK so today wasn't evil at all. Before leaving on Thursday our Commander made sure we all knew that next Friday is Good Friday, so therefore today must be Evil Friday. Anyhow...
First, I had the day off which was fantastic. I got up early this morning (not on purpose) and because I was up, I got my grocery shopping done, cleaned up a little around the house and went for a run in my new shoes.
As soon as I got back I was offered to go to lunch and the range with Matt, Chris and Katherine. I jumped in the shower real quick before we left, only to find out that I didn't have any hot water. Luckily I called the landlord and they fixed that problem right away. Now if they could only hook up the washer and dryer.
Continuing on, the four of us went to Leghorns and then proceeded on to the range. We shot Katherine's new .22 rifle and it was fun. It's sort of like shooting a BB Gun because it's so light. It was a huge difference from shooting the shotgun. The first time I shot the .22 I bashed the trigger (pulled it way too hard). This is one similar to the one I shot today...
The shotgun we shot this week was the Remington 870.
After the range I came home and watched Doomsday and then I was pretty lazy for the rest of the day. I think I'll do the same tomorrow. :)
