Adventures of HG at NRTI

Today was a great day! I felt much better than yesterday and could roll out of bed relatively easy. It was Hope's Birthday...HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOPIE! I washed laundry, vacuumed, did the dishes, got all my stuff ready for tomorrow, baked cookies (shhhh it's a surprise!) and got a lot of other things done around the house. I even have five applications ready to mail out tomorrow, resume included and everything!

I watched a movie with the guys tonight. The movie is "Just Go With It" and features Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston. It was pretty good. I thought it was really funny but the guys thought it was a 'chick flick.'

So tomorrow is Valentine's Day and mom sent me a package earlier this week. She wouldn't let me open it until Valentine's Day, so it sat on my counter all week, knowing full well there was chocolate in there. Do you know how hard that was? Anyway, because I'm in class from 6:00-5:00 tomorrow she let me open it early. Thanks mom! Goodies included a t-shirt, some Valentine's socks, chocolate of course (lots of it), a stuffed dog and cards for Feisty (my cat) and I. Feisty's card was from Halo (my dog at my parents' house). I set it on the floor for Feisty to see and she rubbed against it and sniffed it. You had to be there-it was cute. Thanks mom, I love you!

More to come tomorrow about the big secret. I'm doing something for the class, including the instructors so I'll post pics tomorrow. Have a happy Valentine's Day everyone!!!
