So for today and the next three days we're talking about law in class. Last week was codes, this week is current law. Today was more like a history lesson though. Our instructor, who's a cop and I could swear was a history teacher in a past life, was very animated and brought the past to life. I loved hearing his version of the Revolutionary War, Civil War, World War II, etc. My favorite quote from the instructor today was something to the effect of "Whoever is willing to trade freedom for security deserves neither."

After another long day I hit the gym with a few of the guys. I did 10 minutes of cardio, stretched, punched the bag a bit, lifted some weights, rowed for five minutes and then came home for dinner. By that time I was starving so I had leftover pot roast and veggies. It was yummy. I just jumped out of the shower and now I'm ready for bed. I'm beat and unfortunately I think tomorrow's PT is going to be pretty rough. The good news though is that we don't have DT until next Friday. I think everyone is still recovering from last Friday when we head to keep our guard up for nearly four straight hours. If you've never watched a boxing fight and don't know what I mean by 'keeping your guard up' then put both hands up by your eyebrows, making tight fists and keep your elbows in about shoulder width apart. Now stay like this for 10 minutes. Well? How do you feel? :)
