Today was sort of long as every day is around here. Because I didn't have a bathing suit, a couple of the guys and myself had to run and then some. Basically the routine goes like this: run four laps, do 20 sit ups, 20 push ups, run two laps, 20 sit ups, 20 push ups, repeat, repeat, repeat. By the end of the hour I lost count but we had to have completed this cycle at least nine or 10 times. In the meantime, everyone in the pool had to tread water for ten minutes and swim six laps. Honestly I would have rather done the swimming, but oh well.
Today was the last day of common law. YAY! It was actually really beneficial and I'm glad we were taught the scenarios in that fashion. The instructor would give us the scenario, make us decide what was right or wrong and then we could read the case and the Supreme Court Ruling. It helped me remember the cases a lot better because the class got to debate on each one. The instructor we had today is AWESOME! He's the same guy from earlier this week that I said could be scary, and he can be, but at the same time he's awesome. He said today that he previously thought all his heroes died, but after teaching our class, he told us that we were his heroes, 'the next generation of warriors.' He's a real nice guy and I have a ton of respect for him. I'd love to have him for a full time instructor!
Chris' girlfriend came into town tonight so we all had pizza, played darts, Halo, etc. It was fun and we will get together again tomorrow. Unfortunately, tomorrow's another busy day for me as most Saturdays are. It's laundry day again because yes, my landlord still hasn't put a washer and dryer in. It's very frustrating going to the laundromat, especially when I spend at least $10 every week. I also have to study my SPO's tomorrow. That's really the main thing we will be tested on and it's basically just a bunch of random facts. Some SPO's will be one sentence long while others are five sentences long or more! It's a whole lot of info in a short amount of time. I need to giddy up! I'm also hitting the gym tomorrow. I'll probably throw some punches at the punching bag (this time with gloves). It tends to hurt with no gloves on-the nylon sort of rips your skin. I am taking Sunday off though to relax and watch football. I need one day to myself!
This was my breakfast/lunch. It consisted of a cereal bar, two granola bars, orange juice, a banana, Gatorade, Water, PB&J, Doritos, two candy bars and I have some cashews at my desk that I snack on throughout the day. With all this PT/DT I have to keep the calorie intake up!
