Adventures of HG at NRTI

Today I woke up with a lot more energy than I’ve had the last few days. I got up, made myself a big breakfast. Then I headed out ‘on the town,’ which is really the next town over, to do a few last minute errands. I ended up getting most of the stuff I needed done. I set up an Internet and cable account with Nelsonville Cable and yes, they are the only people on the face of the Earth that will service this area. I also managed to stop at Walmart and the Dollar Tree for some class-specific items like black t-shirts, a dictionary and I picked up a few other things like soda and paper napkins.

I also stopped at the college to get my parking permit. Of course they don’t tell you that they accept debit or credit for an extra $5. Next time I’m sticking with checks. I did manage to pay the remainder of my account balance for this semester and I also worked out the registration issue. The issue was that I sent in my registration and the school lost it. Sounds a little bit like Towson University doesn’t it?

Anyhow, on to shining shoes, packing bags and ironing clothes. First day tomorrow!
