Adventures of HG at NRTI

First, today is a day off. YAY! It doesn't get any better than that.

OK so in case you’re confused, here is the Internet scenario…When I first got to Nelsonville, I forgot my Wireless Internet Card at my mom’s house. Good job right? My mom mailed it and it took about two days so then I had Internet, faint, but I still had it. Then one day it stopped working so I went over to Nelsonville Cable and signed up for Internet and Cable (it just happened to be cheaper that way). Unfortunately everything in this neighborhood opens at 0800 (8:00 a.m.) and closes at 1700 (5:00 p.m.) and of course I have class during that time. Oh and guess what? Everything in this town also closes for lunch from 1200 (12:00 p.m.) until 1300 (1:00 p.m.). Yup. So anyway I FINALLY got my Internet and cable hooked up today. I’m so excited!

Besides that, a realtor is coming to view the house today and give an estimated value so I’m cleaning up getting ready for them to come and later on I’m going to the movies with the guys. Movies here are $4.00! I know, I can’t believe it either. In Towson they’re like $8.00 unless you had a student ID and then you could get in for $6.00. Wahoo! Popcorn and soda, here I come!!!
