A few things I forgot to mention yesterday...

At lunch time we get an hour to do whatever we want, so I ate lunch and spent about a half hour walking around the stables, petting the horses. They are all so cute and very well taken care of. The stable is huge! Actually it's probably one of the nicest I've ever seen. They have padded floor mats in each stall with fresh, soft shavings lining each stall and the walkways. There's a hay loft and a tack room and each horse has a name tag on their stall.

And this is off topic but, I also forgot to mention that jails are stupid. We went over jailing a few days ago and in case you didn't know, your tax dollars pay not only to feed and house inmates, but they also pay for medical care, dentist visits and oh yeah, TV. What!? Yes, crazy I know. If we are going to put people in prison, they should each have a 4x4 room where they spend 24 hours a day, and none of this getting out early for good behavior. If they had behaved well in the first place, they wouldn't be in jail. They should also only get bread and water and maybe the occasional apple if they're lucky. People have survived on much less, just ask the homeless. And TV-are you crazy!? If I ran a jail, there would be no form of entertainment. If they want something to do, they can read and maybe educate themselves on how to become a better citizen. That is all; I've said my peace. :)
