Adventures of HG at NRTI

I slept for about 10.5 hours last night. I took NyQuil right before bed and didn't physically get out of bed until about 1230 (12:30 p.m.) this afternoon. I woke up with a splitting headache and my face felt like it was going to explode. I took my Allegra-D and some DayQuil, but neither seemed to help. Then I tried about five different nasal sprays and that didn't work. Eventually I just gave up, caved in and went to the Express Care in Athens. The doctor gave me a five day Z-Pak and sent me on my way. I took the first two pills today, and it's not like I'm expecting immediate results, but I wish there was something he could have given me for the pain. This congestion is so bad that I feel like someone repeatedly hit me in the face with a brick. I'm going to take NyQuil again tonight and hopefully I can get some sleep. I feel like I need morphine. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow.



Also, I went up to Lancaster, OH today with Matt and his parents. They came into town to drop off his new car and take the truck back since it didn't have any brakes. Don't worry, they towed it away, they didn't drive it. I stopped at Target (I finally found one!) and got a new pair of jeans and a shirt. Thanks Paul! I desperately needed a new pair of jeans because every pair I own have holes, are stained or my personal favorite, are missing buttons. Stupid washers and dryers here in Nelsonville. I put on one of my favorite shirts today, only to find that there were bleach marks on the sleeve. I'm angry, but there's nothing I can do about it. Life goes on and we buy new clothes. I don't have a right to complain anyway when there are people in this world who don't have clothes. I'm sure they'd be happy to have mine, bleach or no bleach stains.
